Repeater

To extend pager coverage
Wireless repeaters are available for facilities with a larger footprint to extend pager coverage throughout.  Their wattage ranges from 10 mW to 5W.

Some of our customers have almost 50 rooms, while others are located on a few floors – all functioning without the use of a repeater.  It all depends on the type of construction, the size of the facility, and the number of floors.  A few facilities have installed a repeater to simply provide coverage for their residents outside in the garden or at the gazebo.

The repeaters connect into a standard electrical outlet or a USB transformer and use an antenna to receive and transmit signals on the assigned frequency.  These repeaters can be programmed to function with all our wireless call bells.

Programming Kit

For future changes
We normally program and test all our transmitters and pagers per a facility’s requirements before shipping, for example, ‘Room 5’, or ‘Room 20 Bathroom’, or ‘Room 10 Mary’.

However, programming kits for the different transmitters are available for customers, to do their own, should they wish in future to change room numbers or names, or move call stations around for different use, or re-assign portable call buttons to different residents.
